Voter Registration

Sangat members register before election day using our touchscreen registration machine. A quick ID scan captures name and phone number. Every registered voter is delivered to your Gurdwara in a Google Sheets roster that belongs to you forever — use it for mailers, texts, events, and community outreach long after the election ends.

Verification & Voting

On election day, a formal Morning Test is held with all sides present. Test votes appear live, verified together, then wiped clean. Both sides sign a physical confirmation form before real voting begins. Voters check in by ID scan, enter the private booth, and vote on the touchscreen machine.

Live Vote Tally Telecast

As votes are cast, a live tally is telecast on your hall's screen for the entire Sangat to witness. The results screen is placed in a separate area from the booths — totals only, no timestamps — making it structurally impossible to trace any vote back to any individual. Winner announced. Full audit report delivered.

Every vote generates a timestamped entry in a complete digital audit report delivered after polls close. More detailed and more traceable than any paper ballot process.

Our team is physically on-site for the entire duration of every election. We bring backup equipment and protocols. We have never abandoned a Gurdwara mid-election.

Who has access to our members' personal information?

Your Gurdwara owns your Sangat's data entirely. Member information is delivered directly to you via Google Sheets. Use it for mailers, texts, events, and community news long after the election. SikhVotes does not retain, sell, or share your Sangat's information with anyone.
